Artelia Home Furnishings is one of the leading manufacturer and exporter of mink blankets, polar fleece, supersoft blankets based in Panipat, India serving community for over 60 years.

Artelia Home Furnishings is led by a highly experienced management team with a combined experience of 40+ years. Since 1940, the promoters have been pioneers in the field of manufacturing acrylic yarn and recycled fabric.

All our mink blankets are manufactured in our newly constructed state-of-the-art 100,000 sq. ft. facility using the most advanced knitting and finishing equipment. Furthermore, the entire manufacturing process from start to finish is 100% in-house, allowing us to customize orders for our clients and ensure strong control over quality.

Ever since we first started sourcing blankets, we relied almost exclusively on Chinese suppliers and hence our supply chain was overdependent on one country. Furthermore, sourcing from china had become much more expensive due to the rising labour rate and the quality of final finishing/stitching was not standardized - leading to easy wear and tear of the final product. In 2007, in search of new sourcing partners - we were introduced to Artelia management. They invited us to visit their manufacturing facility in India and gave us a detailed presentation on their QC and finishing process. Due to lower wage and minimal operational costs in India, they assured us that they could deliver the same quality product at 20% lower cost as compared to Chinese suppliers. I am happy to say that they have not only fulfilled these promises but exceeded them. Since 2007, we have now imported 100+ containers from them and are absolutely delighted to do business with them.

From a South Asia supply perspective, we faced high import duty on finished blankets which made importing uneconomical as per local market standards. When I first met Artelia management at a visit to the National textile conference in India and had a brief discussion about the issue - they not only suggested that we import raw fabric and complete stitching and packing locally. They practically helped implement the stitching process in my company and this allowed us to import semi-finished or pre-stitched blankets (which attract much lower duty). In the next 2 months, Artelia’s management shipped the first shipment of pre-finished blanket rolls. We have been regularly doing business with them since 2016, and are now excited to source their mink blankets - for our local markets.
